Head of Global Alliances (Salesforce Ecosystem)

We are looking for an experienced Global Alliances leader to build and manage a program focused on Salesforce, and large and medium-sized systems integrators within the Salesforce ecosystem. This role will cover North America and Europe and will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships and ensuring they contribute to revenue growth.

What’s the opportunity for the Head of Global Alliances (Salesforce Ecosystem) at Gearset?

  • Program Development: Design and implement a channel alliances program targeting large and medium-sized systems integrators in the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Partnership Management: Manage the Alliances team to build and maintain relationships with Salesforce and key systems integrators, aiming to increase joint business opportunities and collaboration.
  • Regional Focus: Oversee alliance activities in both North America and Europe, ensuring alignment with regional sales, marketing, and technical teams.
  • Partner Enablement: Provide Salesforce and our systems integrators with the necessary resources and training to promote and sell Gearset’s products within their client base.

What you’ll achieve

  • Revenue Growth: Ensure the Gearset sales process supports collaboration with Salesforce and the systems integrators to drive revenue growth through joint opportunities and customer engagements.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, to coordinate partnership efforts.
  • Performance Tracking: Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of Salesforce and systems integrator partnerships.
  • Team Leadership: Build and manage a channel alliances team that can operate across both regions with both Salesforce and the systems integrators.

About you

  • Have been in an alliance leadership, or equivalent position, for several years or more with a proven track record of managing channel or alliance programs, most of which was gained within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Experience working with large and medium-sized systems integrators across North America and Europe.
  • Knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem and its partner landscape.
  • A clear understanding of the organisational structure and go-to-market processes of both Salesforce and the large systems integrators.
  • An active network of relevant contacts within Salesforce and the large systems integratorsStrong business and financial acumen with a track record of meeting revenue targets through partnerships.
  • Good leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience working in a global or multi-regional environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel as needed across North America and Europe.

Great to haves

  • Experience with systems integrators in a variety of market conditions.
  • MBA or equivalent degree.
