So my name is Jonathan Ward. I'm the vice president of global services here at MTX.
We are a global consulting company that supports commercial and our public sector clients. My role is to make sure that we're implementing successful projects to make sure they're scalable and secure and that we're developing in the most efficient manner as possible. We really started our journey probably about a year ago. We were looking at different products and tools because what we were finding out internally, having over a hundred projects running concurrently, the governance around those to make sure they're all deployed in the same manner was really, really important to us.
So we looked at different products and Gear Set was a no brainer once we kinda really looked into the tool, what it could provide from us being able to manage all of our projects at one place really provided, the scalability that we needed. In the future, we really look at a couple of different areas. You're everywhere from dev to QA. That's an important piece for us.
Today, what happens is a developer gets done and he pushes stuff to QA. How do you know those things were tested properly where our release manager comes in? So as an option with test automation, they can run their test script. We can go into your set and see that that that piece was done.
That's just one example.
Also the analytics, as we are scaling across multiple projects and multiple programs, we may have multiple Gearset instances, so it's really important to have that kind of mash up of metrics across all of our ecosystem.
Partnering with a product like Gearset is is really kind of exemplifies what we do as a as a company. We are truly, I believe, a trusted advisor. We talk to them about data backup recovery. We talk to them about test automation. We talked about security scanning. How can Gearset provide all those things in different components because it's not just one product, but it's a suite of products that we look like. So bringing Gearset together to the table with the client, meeting them, and showing them different aspects of the tool and how they can use it, giving them enablement sessions, is is top notch.
