Hi. I'm Fahd. I'm studying master at Anglia Ruskin University, and I'm a software developer intern at Gerset.
Hi. I'm Thomas. I'm, one of the software engineering interns, and I've just finished my third year doing engineering at Cambridge University.
My name is Mireya, and I'm the technical marketing intern at Gearset. I'm starting my fourth year at Imperial College studying physics.
Going into, Gearset, knowing it's a remote internship, I wasn't sure how, like, the internship is gonna pan out, but then my mentor reassured me. He make sure, like, I get the best experience possible ever since the first day.
I was really nervous, but my mentor did a really good job of making me feel welcome.
I, turned out pushing a change to the product on day two, and that didn't feel like I was really making it.
My internship at Gierset has been very meaningful. And it's not like other internships where you might go around, like, fetching coffee or doing meaningless tasks. Here at Gearset, every work that I put in feel like I'm contributing to my team's overall goal.
The core values are not just written on paper to fit the bill. They're actually playing into everyone's work every single day That is what sets Gearset apart.
Despite the first half of the internship being fully remote, the company spent a lot of effort posting social events. You've reached the gap between all the interns and all the staff at Gearset.
It really felt like I was still part of Gearset, part of the company, and I could talk to anyone even when I was working virtually.
If you're thinking about applying for an internship, I recommend going for Gearset.
I'm really gonna miss the people here.
I could definitely see myself walking to GISAC in the future.
