Internal Technical Recruiter

At Gearset, we build a cutting-edge DevOps solution for the millions of developers building applications on Salesforce, the world's biggest enterprise PaaS. In only three years Gearset has become the DevOps solution of choice for some of the world’s biggest companies, including IBM, McKesson, and even Salesforce themselves.

We’ve more than doubled the size of our team in the last twelve months, and we want to do the same again next year. We’ve never had an employee quit Gearset, and the team we’ve assembled is a joy to come to work with every day. We’re demanding, love working with talented people, and have a strong culture that we value dearly. We’re searching for our first Internal Technical Recruiter to help find the next 20 Gearsetizens to help us get to the next level.

You will:
  • Help get the word out about Gearset so that more software professionals in the area know who we are!
  • Actively source talented people who would be a great addition to our team, while incrementally working on longer term employer branding
  • Get to grips with the technical nature of the majority of Gearset candidates. As a software engineer, I get constant spam from recruiters that drop in buzzwords that just annoy me - are you different?
  • Screen candidates effectively to find out if they’ll be a good fit for our team before passing them onto our engineers for interview to keep our pipeline efficient
  • Be responsible for ensuring every applicant has a great experience from start to finish, in every interaction with us; we care about the people taking the time to apply and even if we don’t end up working together we want them to have a great impression of Gearset
Our ideal candidate will have:
  • A bachelor's degree from a top university
  • Demonstrable exceptional writing skills and attention to detail
  • A technical predisposition, and the desire to learn
  • Fantastic organisational skills, and the capacity to manage a pipeline of candidates across multiple channels
  • Experience working with external agencies, and a natural instinct to apply data driven decisions when choosing which agencies are best for Gearset
  • A pragmatic bias towards action, without too much of a compromise on quality
A little about our benefits:
  • You'll work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in our Cambridge office
  • Salary is £30k - £40k, depending on experience
  • Bupa health care
  • Flexible working hours
  • Free lunch
How to apply:

Email [email protected] with your CV, some information about why you'd be a great fit for this role.

Note: applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. We prefer to hire directly, and aren't accepting applications via recruitment agencies at this time.
