What’s the opportunity for an Account Manager at Gearset?
- Using a consultative sales approach, you’ll work with a broad group of Gearset's existing customers, to gain a comprehensive understanding of their goals and challenges.
- Own the overall sales cycle, from initial conversation through to commercial discussion, and winning the opportunity.
- Deliver product demos with strong levels of interactivity, and guide our prospects through the full sales cycle.
- Become a Gearset product expert after receiving full product training from our in-house team, becoming able to position Gearset above others in the market.
- Become a key part of the sales team which thrives on competitive collaboration to ensure success for everyone in the team.
What you’ll achieve
- Accurately forecast sales targets, meeting (or exceeding!) them.
- Build a deep understanding of our users and their common pains, our products, the Salesforce platform, and DevOps concepts.
- Collaborate and learn from team members across the business to expand your technical product knowledge, and become an expert in the value of Gearset.
- Influence Gearset’s product roadmap by sharing prospect feedback with the marketing and development teams, to ensure we’re continuing to build a world-class solution.
About you
- Previous experience selling a product as either an Account Manager, Account Executive or Renewals Manager
- Track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Constantly looking to improve, and comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback to make your work even better
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be able to engage professionally with prospects
- The drive to learn a new technology, and a passion to provide high quality customer demos
- A team player to help shape our rapidly-growing company
Great to haves
- Experience selling a technical product, in a B2B company
- Familiarity with using Salesforce
Salary and benefits (the stuff you’d expect!)
- Salary of £35k - £50k base with a realistic OTE of £45k - £70k (depending on experience)
- This is a full time opportunity, working Monday to Friday; hours will be a mix of UK, and US East Coast (1pm - 9pm UK), with most folk working 3 days a week from Gearset’s Cambridge office
